Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, former supermodel and film maker. Her stunning beauty as well as her accomplishments in the world of film reflect her talents as an actor. Young model she started in the 70s. Her popularity quickly grew within the world of modeling. Rose Namajunas ranks among the most prestigious UFC female fighters. She started her career as an amateur fighter, competing in various regional promotions before registering to Invicta Fighting Championships and later signing up with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The fighter has gained plenty of attention after joining the UFC thanks to her on and off the octagon's successes. Namajunas is born June 29th 1993 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrant family. Rose participated in basketball as well as kickboxing when she was growing up. Rose made her debut as a professional when she was 18 in the Invicta Fighting Championships at which she won two matches by submission. The fights caught the eye of Dana White who signed her to join UFC the strawweight division at the age of twenty-two years of age. Rose has had the highs and lows of her professional career. However, she's always won. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza in April 2015 in the Women's Strawweight Title. Rose won the bout by technical knockout within 3 minutes in the initial round. This was the first ever time a woman competed for a title title with any major promotion worldwide. Namajunas was victorious in several bouts after this one, and received the title of Performance Of The Night by UFC in her fights against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
